Eszter Kismödi
Eszter Kismödi is the Chief Executive of the journal and organisation Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters. She is an international human rights lawyer specialising in sexual and reproductive health and gender diversity. From 2002–2012, Eszter worked as the Human Rights Adviser in WHO’s Department of Reproductive Health and Research. As an expert consultant, she has been working with several UN agencies, international organisations and NGOs, including UNAIDS, UNHCR, UNDP Asia Pacific Hub, OHCHR, WHO, the World Association for Sexual Health and CREA during the period of 20012–2018.
She is a board member of WHO’s Global Advisory Board on Elimination of Mother and Child Transmission of HIV and Syphilis, and of Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE). She is a visiting fellow at the Yale Law School’s Global Health Justice Partnership. She is a regular lecturer in various university programmes, such as the Master’s Programme in Global Health of the Institute for Global Health, University College of London, UK, and the International Health Programme of the University of Oslo, Norway.
